Snow, Baby Robins and Dogs 7-13 067

There they are.  I throughly warned everyone in my intro post that this blog would involve photos of my dogs.  I can’t have children, so these little punks are my kids.  Pip is the dog on the left and Meggie is the big girl.  Meggie has a tendency to play a little too rough and Pip was having none of it.  He’s a whopping 25lbs. of an “I run this house attitude” whereas Meggie is more like “uhhhhh duhhhhhhhhh I just wanna play Pip!  COME ON PIP LET’S PLAY”.  Unfortunately, she has a nasty habit of biting his neck and although the spiked collar was an attempt to cull that behavior it seems to have had little effect.  We call this Pip’s “ugly face” and he very much gets corrected any time we see THAT kind of dominance coming out.

Luckily, most days they are more like this.

2-1-14 OMG SQUEE

This is Pip at less than 8 hours old, he came to us from a friend

Baby Pip

This was how we found Meggie at the local animal control office.  I try to remember this photo every time I see that she has chewed another hole in my bed linens…
