Today was a lovely day…mostly.

I went out and about today for a manicure.  I was long overdue for a manicure and I now feel properly pampered for the weekend!  Since I was going to be in the area early in the day, I thought I would go to the River Market and take some photos.  I had every intention of actually going in to the River Market, but quite frankly I didn’t feel like circling around forever looking for a parking spot.  I went farther down and took about 140 photos.

Aside from locking my keys in the car and getting repeatedly approached by homeless people begging it was a great day.  YAY for locksmiths since it was….oh you know, 90 degrees in the SHADE while I was out, and I left my drink in the car.  All I had on me was my cell, my camera, and my tripod.  Oiy.

Anyway, here is a preview of some of the photos I took today.

The Arkansas River was seriously muddy today.

This bridge runs from Little Rock to North Little Rock, which are in fact two seperate cities.

This is the span of the river.

Ummm clouds.

I figure since I am already hot and sweaty from being stuck outside in the heat today, I am going to go get my dang yard work finished.
